Privacy notice

Data required for a purchase
We store the email entered for purchase, product, order reference, payment reference, amount, currency, payment status and timestamps. Card and bank credentials are handled by Razorpay; the application does not store them. Please review Razorpay's privacy notice when using its checkout.
Learning progress and notes
Lesson completion and notes are stored in your browser on your device. They are not sent to the Kinetivy server. Clearing browser data may remove them. Exported notes are a file you control.
Access and security
An essential HttpOnly cookie remembers confirmed purchase access. Private access codes should be treated like a password and shared only with devices you control. Access checks happen on the server; the full paid books and lesson content are excluded from the public web directory.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics 4 is managed through a dedicated Google Tag Manager container. Optional measurement stays off until you allow analytics in Privacy settings. It measures page and edition views, sample-link opens, checkout steps, server-confirmed purchases, download-link clicks and self-reported reader progress. We exclude purchase emails, phone numbers, private notes, access codes and raw payment references from events. Purchase measurement uses a pseudonymous transaction identifier. A download click does not prove that the whole file was received. Advertising is a separate optional choice; no Meta Pixel or Google Ads conversion tag is installed in this release. You can reject or withdraw optional tracking at any time through Privacy settings. Withdrawal stops future browser measurement; it does not delete historical provider records. Google may process consented device, browser and network information. Event and user data retention is set to 14 months, with retention reset on new activity turned off. Aggregated standard reports may follow different retention rules. A purchase does not subscribe you to marketing email.
Providers, retention and rights
The application is hosted on a managed publishing server, and Razorpay processes payments. Payment and support records are retained for delivery, accounting and applicable legal requirements. Contact hello@kinetivy.com to request access, correction or deletion of personal data; required accounting records may need to be retained. We do not sell personal data.
Publication privacy
Teaching examples use synthetic or credited public material. They do not disclose the author's private career, confidential employer or client information, or personal contact details. The author name is retained as normal publication credit.
